The powerful tool of mindfulness, one of the best stress-reduction & relaxation tools according to research, is the foundation of my work.
Due to my international background – and my natural ability to make people feel relaxed and at ease – I work with a variety of creatives and on an international level: from Holland to Ibiza to the UK.

From the Netherlands to the US to Ibiza
I was born in the Netherlands – by the sea – in the beautiful Dutch province of Sealand (Zeeland). When I am by the sea I can truly relax and re-charge. I grew up abroad in the U.S., Germany and Brussels and am bilingual, Dutch and English. I currently live in the Netherlands with the beautiful island of Ibiza as my second home.
From my Mind to my Heart
I am a professional creative like you and also have to deal with our fast-paced society. I enjoy my essential daily me-time and relaxation, allowing me to recharge my batteries.
For many years, however, it was a very different story. I had busy corporate jobs as a web editor and translator at various international companies. I was always on the go, had trouble calming my mind, felt stressed & overwhelmed and did not know how to allow myself to relax in my busy schedule.
In my early 30s I nearly had a burn-out. I decided then and there that I would do everything to prevent this from happening. I also wanted a healthy lifestyle change: find my work – relaxation balance and live more from the heart.
I learned from powerful mentors, took 10+ years of yoga & meditation classes, courses on healthy food and completed a certified mindfulness training in 2007. The powerful tool of mindfulness was the key turning point for me.
By experiencing and integrating everything I learned, I was able to calm my mind and reconnect to my heart. Naturally I am only human and still have days when I feel stressed & overwhelmed, but I now know and use the right tools to calm myself & relax. Every day I choose to make myself top priority again as this is my foundation to fully thrive & enjoy life!
